Chesterfield House

When Balcony were first approached by the client it was to either make safe or dismantle a balcony which the original house builder had constructed in a somewhat 'questionable' fashion!

A three storey house built on top of a steep gradient, when viewed from a frontal aspect the balcony appears to be situated on the ground floor, but a view from the rear of the property reveals a third 'basement' level as the ground continues to slope away.

Given the spectacular views over the former estate lake the previous structure afforded, a properly constructed replacement Balcony was decided upon.

With better use of space, (more than doubling the area of the original structure) the new Balcony project built in hand selected and structurally graded pressure treaded Scandinavian redwood has added a completely new dimension to the client's enjoyment of their uniquely appointed home.

From commencement to completion and handover, this project took just seven days to complete including the removal of the original structure... proving that in the right circumstances an efficient design and build process combined with our highly skilled team can deliver results in a remarkably short time!
